The Archers would quickly take the lead on a breakaway to make it 1-0. They would then add two more to make it 3-0. The Puck Pimps would get one when Chris "The Kazamanian Devil" rifled one into the roof of the frame to make it 3-1. After some nice saves by Scott Brady, the Archers would have a faceoff to the right of the Pimps' netminder with 6.1 remaining in the first period. The puck was flung to behind the Pimps net where then banked one from a tight angle off Brady and in just before the buzzer, to go ahead 4-1 after a period.

The second period would see Bonna get the Pimps closer from The Kazmanian Devil, making it 4-2, but a trip on Ralph Bowen would knock him out for no more than two minutes, and an Archers power play. While down, Brady would make a fantastic glove save, and use some nice angling to prevent another three goal Archers cushion. At 4-2, it would go into the third with the Archers on the frontfoot.

The Archers saw the finish line and increased the gap to 5-2 through. The next Archers goal, going bar down, made it 6-2. Then they made it 7-2. Puck Pimps could not score on the powerplay, then at even strength the Archers added another goal for 8-2 lead. Archers would eventually make it 9-2, but the Pimps would get one more, Dave Sheeler from Greg Mustoe, it would only make the final scoreline of 9-3 closer, in an Archers thumping.

Scott Brady turned aside 28 of 37 shots in the loss.
