The Biohazards have lost their previous four games coming into this one, the Puck Pimps have won only one out of their last seven. 
The Pimps got going fast, Greg Mustoe was able to slap one into the top corner to make it 1-0. Biohazards would get two goals to make it 2-1 going into the 2nd period. The 2nd period only saw 1 goal, scored by the Biohazards, to make it 3-1.

The third period would begin with a Mustoe goal, his second, to pull the Puck Pimps close with a 3-2 score. However, Biohazards would score 4 unanswered goals against fill-in goalie Dave Scioscia, to make it a 7-2 game which was the eventual final. Scioscia turned aside 18 of 25 shots in the loss.
