Bulldogs made it 2-1 before Dave Sheeler assisted Greg Mustoe for his 2nd of the night to make it 2-2. Dave Petzinger put the Puck Pimps ahead 3-2. Bulldogs would make it 3-3, then would go off, matching roughing minors with Sheeler.

The Puck Pimps went ahead during a powerplay, with Scott Brady scoring while up a man from Booth & Lukiw to make it 4-2. The Bulldogs would tie it 4-4, but would be called for another trip. The second Puck Pimps power play goal would be Mustoe's, completing his hatrick to make it 5-4, then the third Puck Pimps power play goal was Eric Racine's. It was now 6-4 Puck Pimps.

The Bulldogs would go one to make it 6-5. They the leveled it to make it 6-6. Then a Brady hook and Puck Pimps bench minor occurred on the same whistle. The Bulldogs could not score during their 5-on-3, but would eventually have another power play with Racine's hook. Bulldogs would get a powerplay goal to get up 7-6, then the night was finished with another goal to make it an 8-6 final.
