The Hooligans sprinted out to a 3-0 lead early. The Hooters were comfortable, but the Puck PImps stayed with it, getting closer on Charlie "The Onion" Cunion's goal from Ralph Bowen and Chris "The Kazmanian Devil" Kazlasuakas. After a rough, Charlie "The Onion" Cunion's power play goal from Greg Mustoe and Dave Petzinger brought it to 3-2, then Charlie "The Onion" Cunion would get his third point when he and Ralph Bowen helped John Vivino tie it at 3-3.

Either team's game, the Hooligans would stay level killing a penalty, but at even strength, the Puck Pimps would score to go up 4-3 with a Mustoe goal from Chris "The Kazmanian Devil" Kazlauskas. It looked like the Hooligans were going to squander any chance at a win when they went down short handed, but killed the penalty. The Pimps would seem to settle things, but were then hit when the Hooligans scored a breakaway goal to tie it 4-4.

The Puck Pimps then limped to overtime where it was all Hooligans, who would win on a snipe over the shoulder of Scott Brady. Brady turned aside 23 of 28 shots in the overtime loss.
