As the Puck Pimps reach the last of a regular season, and quite a long one at that, they seemed to get a result that has been all too common for them this season... a loss. The good news? All teams make the playoffs, and the playoff format is up in the air so far, so the Puck Pimps still have a decent shot here if they can get the personnel to show up for all games.

"It really depends on when these games occur" was pretty much the consensus in the locker room tonight.

Let's get to the game. The first period saw a lot of back and forward action, but the only goal was scored by the Ooff! who ended up taking a 1-0 lead into the second period. The second period saw most of the scoring though. Puck Pimps tied the game as Chris Kazlauskas got one in five hole on a breakaway (assisted by Dave Petzinger) to make it 1-1. Ooff! got the lead back though and made it 2-1 before Greg Mustoe ripped a shot that deflected off of an Ooff! defensemen and past their goalie to tie it at 2-2 (assisted by Tarek Bonna), which was the score going into the third period.

The Puck Pimps gained the lead in the third period, as Tarek Bonna scored to make it 3-2 (assisted by Scott Brady) but the Ooff! tied it quick to make it 3-3. With about 5 minutes left, the Ooff! turned it up a bit and took advantage of a tired Puck Pimps team which had 9 skaters tonight, and scored 2 unanswered goals in a minute to make it a 5-3 lead for the Ooff! This was the eventual final, as the Puck Pimps could not convert on the extra man advantage with goaltender Nick Minarik pulled the last minute. Nick turned aside 27 of 32 shots in tonight's loss
