The Puck Pimps had two wins in five games, but were losers of their last two, meaning the winner of tonight’s contest moving ahead of the other. 

The Rink Rats would be faced with a kill and their goalie kept them at bay. At even strength, The Rink Rats’ got 2 goals to make it 2-0 early.Pressing to try and knock the Puck Pimps out early, the Rink Rats scored again making it 3-0, which would be the score going into the second period, although the Rink Rats would be down a man.

The Puck Pimps made their power play count with Chris “The Kazmanian Devil” Kazlauskas scoring, to make it 3-1 but they would be pulled back on a Rink Rats goal to make it 4-1. Rink Rats would get another goal to make it 5-1, but the Puck Pimps stayed in it with Scott Brady finishing from Dave Scioscia to make it 5-2

The third period began with the Rink Rats ahead 5-2, but the deficit was made two after Greg Mustoe put the biscuit in the basket to make it 5-3. As soon as the Puck Pimps felt like they were getting closer, Rink Rats scored again to make it 6-3. The Rink Rats had another successful kill, but Chris "The Kazmanian Devil" Kazlauskas got their fourth goal from Mustoe to make it 6-4. The Puck Pimps were gunning for a fifth goal, but Rink Rats denied all chances and added another one to make it 7-4. That goal pretty much put the game out of reach. 

Nick Minarik was in goal, turning aside 27 of 34 shots in the loss.
